In an unexpected twist, this movie is actually pretty good. The opening "disaster" scene doesn't have quite the same impact as the ones from the first two, but the rest of the film is fun and gruesome and well-paced. Just like part 2, this one knows exactly what kind of movie it is and plays to its strengths. The whole "photographs giving clues to your death" thing is fun, although if we want to be really nit-picky you could argue that they don't stick to the rules of Death established in the first two films... that would be silly though, because these movies are not meant to be taken that seriously. Another good entry in the series.
