#35 - Color Me Blood Red (1965)
An artist is struggling with his use of color, until he finds the perfect shade of red... The final installment in the "Blood Trilogy" by Herschell Gordon Lewis, this one is probably the most coherent film of the three but still features completely ridiculous acting and dialogue. The kids talk like characters straight out of Scooby-Doo, although the acting in your average Scooby-Doo episode outclasses this film by a wide margin. The gore here is never as gross as Blood Feast, but it is still gratuitous.
Occasionally funny, occasionally gross, this one is for cult/exploitation fans only.
