Ghoulies II (1988)
This movie was hilarious and pretty much everything the first film promised to be but wasn't. Literally the only thing it has in common with the original is that it uses the same puppets... there is no plot connection as far as I can tell. The little monsters somehow get to a carnival and invade the haunted house, where they cause mischief and mayhem, etc. The attraction becomes quite popular, until some people go missing.
The "rubber puppet monster" genre isn't exactly high art, and this film knows exactly what it is. It's really silly and fun, and in my opinion a much better movie than the original.

PS - This movie has the laziest tagline ever. You can't just add "...again!" to the previous film's tagline, especially when the two movies have basically nothing to do with each other.
