#27 - Witching & Bitching (2013)

(dir. Alex de la Iglesia)

After a heist gone bad, a small group of jewel thieves manage to escape the law, but find themselves captured by a coven of witches.  The first 2/3rds of this Spanish horror/comedy are really good - it's genuinely funny, and the witches are fun and creepy.  However I think the third act is pretty weak, and the ending made absolutely no sense to me.  I even watched the last 15 minutes a second time because I thought I may have missed something, but I still didn't get it.

I sort of half recommend this - it starts off really strong, just be aware that it ends on a weak note.  Available on Netflix streaming.
