#38 - Green Room (2015)

(dir. Jeremy Saulnier)

A touring punk band accidentally become witnesses to a murder, and are trapped inside the club by its owner, the leader of a neo-Nazi gang.  They quickly realize that the police aren't coming to help, and they are forced to fight to stay alive.  This is a really excellent thriller, with some serious tension and some brutal violence.  Everything plays out in believable ways while still keeping you on the edge of your seat.

One of my favorite movies of the year.  Highly recommended.
