I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

After accidentally killing a man with their car, Julie and her friends hide the body and swear to never speak of it again.  One year later, a mysterious man with a hook shows up and starts terrorizing the teens.  Was there a witness to their crime?  Or is the man they killed back from the dead, hell bent on revenge?  This movie tries hard to imitate Scream (and shares the same screenwriter, Kevin Williamson), but mostly fails at it.  It's a slasher without any real teeth (or blood), and a mystery without an interesting plot.

Not much else to say about this one.  Fun for some 90's nostalgia, but this is at best an OK thriller.  Just watch Scream again instead.
