Night of the Creeps (1986)

Another classic horror/comedy from the 80's. A couple of dorky college kids stumble upon a young man frozen in a cryogenics lab, and accidentally unfreeze him. It turns out he was frozen for a reason; specifically, because his head was full of alien slugs that turn people into zombies. You can guess that these slugs get out and infect other students, leading to lots more zombies. I give this movie a lot of credit for original monsters - alien brain slug zombies aren't exactly par for the course, and it's a nice change. It also helps that this is a genuinely funny movie, with quick witty dialogue and some hilarious effects (the little zombie dog had me laughing every time it was on screen).
