#8 - Zombie Fight Club (2014)
Zombie Fight Club (Shi cheng) (2014)

Generic zombie movie stuff. A bunch of people are in an apartment building when a zombie outbreak happens (possibly caused by "bath salts"), and they have to fight for survival. Lots of unnecessary sex and violence ensues. Disappointingly, the vast majority of the special effects are CGI, and they look terrible. Even the makeup is occasionally added in digitally. Everything looks fake and dumb.
About 2/3rds of the way through, time skips ahead a year and the plot becomes about a group of human slaves forced to fight zombies for some reason, hence the film's title. I didn't really understand what the purpose of this was, or why I should care about any of the characters, or why I was still watching this bad movie instead of doing something productive.
There are more bad things about this movie that I could talk about (random slow motion for no reason, terrible jarring editing, poorly translated subtitiles) but it's hardly worth the effort. Not recommended at all, even to fans of Asian zombie films.
